On the 11th day of Christmas

December 11:
Today's Goal: Visit or call someone who is sick or lonely.
Reading: Matthew 25:37-40
37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

I love this scripture and I love how this video portrays it. When we serve others, we are serving our Heavenly Father. And when we are serving we will greatly be blessed.

" Opportunities for service to others are limitless. Kind words and deeds can lift burdens and gladden hearts. Sharing the gospel is a great service with eternal consequences. One true key to happiness is to labor for the happiness of others."

“Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me” (Matthew 25:40).

Song: A poor wayfaring man of grief hymn 29

Since I have been called to be Laurel 1st counselor. The president and I have been planning to visit the less active girls, as well those who are sick or lonely in our ward. When Jesus was on the earth he led the way by healing those who needed healing, and morning with those who mourn. We too can follow Christ example by doing all we can to help serve others. Just a simple hello, or hug can do wonders.

I had the idea of making a page with these post as well as a page with attributes I learn about who Christ is.
